Somerset Hills School District Signs Up for the New Jersey Energy Tracking System (NJ ETS)
Somerset, NJ March 5, 2012 - The Somerset Hills School District has signed an agreement with EnergySolve LLC to have its utility bills paid using the New Jersey Energy Tracking System (NJ ETS). The State of New Jersey and New Jersey Transit are currently using the NJ ETS. The State is making the NJ ETS available to all governmental entities in the State through the Cooperative Purchasing provisions of state law whereby all governmental entities can obtain the services without going out to bid.
By using the NJ ETS, the Somerset Hills School District will save more than $22.54 every time a utility bill is paid. The service will cost $6.30, producing a rate of return in excess of 357%. Additional savings will result from billing error detection and from spotting usage issues such as water leaks.
