Using the web-based reporting system of our Bill Outsourcing platform, information about your critical spending activities (e.g. energy, water, telecommunications) is efficiently and effectively communicated through a powerful application that is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week via a secure Internet connection.

The Process

  • On-going Bill Verification, Presentment, and Payment
    Energysolve provides a complete outsourcing solution for the ongoing bill validation and processing of your bills (e.g., electric, gas, water, and sewer, telecommunications) on a monthly basis. We collect bills that the customer wants outsourced, check them for accuracy, consolidate them where possible, and either pays them directly to the provider on your behalf or through an automated process that sends a file to your Accounts Payable department for payment.

  • Late Fee Guarantee
  • The UBAR system features a Missing Bills Exception that identifies when a bill should have been received in order to process it and pay it in time to avoid a late fee charge.  When a Missing Bill Exception is generated, EnergySolve contacts the utility to obtain a copy of the bill so that it can be entered into the system, processed, and paid or forwarded for payment by the due date.

  • Collection of Historic Data, Bill Verification, and Service/Tariff Analysis
    Collecting historic information creates the foundation for understanding how your facilities operate, how you can improve the operation, create budgets, benchmark against other facilities and save money. Energysolve gathers the most recent 12 months worth of selected bills and s them for accuracy and service/tariff improvements by utilizing a proprietary software application.

  • Information tracking and reporting
    The information obtained from the bills on a monthly basis (including a scanned image of the bill itself) can be viewed through a web browser (preferably Internet Explorer), a secure Internet connection, and user-friendly reports.

The Reports

Aggregate Billing Report - The Aggregate Billing Report provides a summary of the Customer's spending on goods and services throughout predetermined levels of the organization (e.g. corporate, division, region, facility). It allows the user to view cost and usage for a particular facility or aggregated up through and including the corporate level of the hierarchy of its organization.

Billing Report - The Billing Report provides information about the Customer's current and historical bills for accounting purposes. It provides both a scanned image of the bill as well as a bill template for organizational effectiveness and standard presentment of bills received electronically (e.g. through EDI).

Meter Report - The Meter Report provides information about the consumption of goods or services that are metered (e.g. energy, water) at the Customer's facilities at the meter/service level as provided on the Customer's bills.

Facility Report - The Facility Report provides information about the Customer's facility(s) including contact information for its personnel and all of its selected providers. In addition, it allows the users to enter the square footage for the facility and assign a weather station to its location to view heating degree-days and cooling degree-days (HDD/CDD) to facilitate an understanding of weather-related consumption.

Project Report - The Project Report allows the Customer or any third-party given access through a unique username and password to track and maintain information about energy savings or capital improvement projects at the facility. This report is also “rolls up” project cost and status activities throughout all levels of the corporate hierarchy to enable managers to better track the life cycle of projects throughout the organization.

Ad Hoc/Customizable Reports - Energysolve collects, processes, and posts all billing determinants down to the meter/service level (if any) into the Bill Outsourcing platform allowing our Customers to create a multitude of customizable reports through our Ad Hoc Reporting tool. All data contained within the Bill Outsourcing platform can also be instantly downloaded into an Excel format, and then manipulated as desired.
